Pool Rental Information

Pool space may be reserved on an availability basis related to established priorities (students first, then faculty and staff, families of students, faculty and staff, alumni and others).

Organizations renting the pool must complete a Pool Rental Form at two weeks prior to planned activity. Off campus organizations and/or persons must show a certificate of insurance naming the University as "additionally insured" and participants must sign a liability waiver. A standard contract will be executed for non-university groups. Groups using other university facilities in addition to the Aquatic Center must make all arrangements through conference services.

No activity may be advertised until approved!

Campus units who wish to use the pool for group activities also must submit a Pool Request Form two weeks prior to planned use. Non-student participants in University Sponsored Youth programs will be charged $5.00 per person (non exclusive use). Non-student participants in adult conferences may use the facility by showing conference badge and paying daily fee of $5.00.

Rental Fees:

• University sponsored activity - students only
  • Regular Hours (non-exclusive use):
    • No fee
  • After Hours use:
    • Hourly base rental fee.
• University sponsored group - conferences (non-student participants)
  • pool use during regular hours (non-exclusive use):
    • $5.00 a day per person
  • after hours use:
    • Hourly base rental fee.
• Non-university group
  • pool use during regular hours (non-exclusive use):
    • $5.00 per person.
  • exclusive use or after hours use:
    • Hourly base rental fee + $5.00 per person.

ALL NMSU Student Groups (sanctioned) are Responsible for the following fees:

• 10% of event income (If charging for event)
• 0% of event income if the event is free
